Children With Extra Challenges
If you, or anyone you know has a child with extra challenges in life, whether those challenges are medical, physical, mental,
or emotional, please know there is ALWAYS hope!!! We are all unique individuals, and these children come into our lives for
a reason - or for many reasons. I was listening to a recording of Abraham-Hicks, and I was really moved by the following:

"Not only do you love them, but you love who they really are, and the power with which they have come forth, and the
clarity that they help provide you - the confusion and clutter that they take out of things, and the alignment of energy that
they seem, at some deeper level to understand - and their willingness to stand out above the crowd and be the unique beings
that they are.
The example that they set, that you did not come forth, any of you, into this environment to take all the ideas that existed
and to whittle them down into just a few good ideas. Instead you came forth to explore the variety that you are all about.
Mmm - there is much reason to love them."
Abraham-Hicks: Boulder, CO - 6/10/06
I found the birth of my daughter, who has many extra challenges in this life, to be a time of enormous changes in my life.
Things I had previously taken for granted I no longer took for granted - particularly good health.
The contrast that I experienced with her turned out to be a HUGE gift to me. At the time I did not see that. I saw her
as a gift to me, but I did not see how all the contrast was also a gift.
My daughter also taught me the most wonderful thing - she taught me about unconditional love. She taught me how to give,
and how to receive unconditional love. You can read more about this on the page titled 'Unconditional Love', which is under
construction right now but which will be finished soon.
